Anita not only wants to reach the community with her films, but she wants to reach the community with her hands. On Oct. 18, 2017, she hosted a Red Carpet Premiere of 'Same Kind of Different as Me' for the homeless of Kansas City.  She didn't want to just invite the homeless or displaced to the movie premiere, though. She believed God had bigger plans.  She believed God asked her to organize a whole afternoon of pampering prior to the movie premiere.  So, she feed them a meal, provided clothes, made showers available, and gave makeovers and haircuts. KMBC's Alan Shope interviewed her at the event.  Read the Press Release here: http://media.virbcdn.com/files/cc/22ad47d3d04dc022-ANITATHEADVOCATEEPK.pdf
